Terms of use
Please read these terms before installing Onyro.
1. What Onyro is
Onyro is a couch first game shell for Windows. It lists games that are already installed on your PC and starts them through the stores and launchers you already use. Onyro does not sell, supply, host or provide access to any game.
2. How you get Onyro
The public copy is on the Microsoft Store. Updates come from the Microsoft Store.
Onyro checks this site to see when a newer version is listed. That check does not install a Setup file.
A Store listing does not make Onyro a Microsoft product.
3. Personal use
Onyro is licensed to you free of charge for personal, non-commercial use on computers you own or control. You may not sell Onyro, or charge anyone else for access to it.
4. No affiliation
Onyro is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sony, Microsoft, Valve, Epic Games, Ubisoft, or any other game publisher or platform. All product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and are used only to identify the software they refer to.
5. Provided as is
Onyro is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You use it at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alexandre Dzodzuashvili is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Onyro, including lost data or interruption to other software.
6. Your accounts and your games
You remain responsible for following the terms of the stores, launchers and games you use through Onyro. Onyro does not change, bypass or interfere with any of them, and it never asks for your store credentials.
7. Changes and removal
You can uninstall Onyro at any time from Windows Settings, under Apps. Future versions may change these terms; the terms shown when you install apply to that version.
Minimum PC requirements
- Windows 10 64-bit (21H2 or later) or Windows 11
- 4 GB RAM
- DirectX 11 compatible graphics
- 250 MB disk plus artwork cache
- 1080p or higher display
- A controller is recommended
The artwork cache grows with the size of your library and can be cleared at any time. The same list is in Onyro under Settings, Requirements.
