One list
Requirements
This is the only requirements list. The homepage and the terms use these same lines. Onyro does not publish a higher recommended PC. The games you launch set that bar.
Minimum
- Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 1809 or later (64-bit)
- For security, use a Windows version Microsoft still supports
- 4 GB RAM
- DirectX 11 compatible graphics
- 250 MB disk plus artwork cache
- 1080p or higher display
- A controller is recommended
Recommended
There is no separate recommended spec for Onyro itself. If the PC already runs the game, it meets the bar that matters. Onyro adds the shelf, not a second graphics target.
Display
1080p or higher display. Clear Black is the theme aimed at OLED screens. A television is fine. The PC is still Windows.
Controllers
A controller is recommended. The app is built for Xbox controllers, PlayStation DualSense, DualShock 4, and controllers with an XInput mode. A mouse and keyboard still work. Compatibility status
Windows versions
Runs on Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 1809 or later (64-bit). For security, use a Windows version Microsoft still supports.
The artwork cache grows with the library and can be cleared.
Free for personal, non-commercial use. Read the personal use term. Free forever. A small optional donation reminder appears every 10th launch, dismiss it with one button.
